Another Champion for CCC!
Congratulations to James Millington who successfully completed the 2009 London Marathon!
We are delighted for James on his incredible achievement and were thrilled that he chose to run in aid of Child Concern Consortium because: “I knew I wanted to support a smaller charity within the LBTH area and am happy to support such a good charity!”
Having completed the marathon in just over 4 hours and raising an amazing £743.20 for CCC, James said: “I'm glad that I have been able to raise some extra funds for the charity - it was all totally worth it and I hope that it will allow you to do more of your excellent work - in fact, I think that doing the run was the easy part!
I finished in 4:08 so I was just outside of the 4hr mark. It was a very hot day but the support from the spectators was, as ever, absolutely amazing and was sometimes the only thing which kept me going!
