Fundraising and challenges
Fundraising is a great way to support our work and have fun. You can add fundraising to many different activities and we have listed a few ideas below to help get you started.
Personal challenges
Have you ever thought about doing something different and setting yourself a personal challenge? Maybe you could get fit, face your fears or make new friends whilst raising funds for Child Concern Consortium.
Claire, a medical professional from Nottinghamshire did just that when she decided it was time to get in shape. Claire told us that she chose to raise money for Child Concern Consortium with a sponsored slim-athon because “I know of so many children in the community who would benefit from the kind of work you do.”
Parties and events
Approaching a special birthday or celebration? You could plan a party and ask your guests to mark the occasion with a donation to Child Concern Consortium.
No-hassle, easy way to manage your donations
The easiest way to manage your donations is by creating a fundraising page at http://www.justgiving.com/childconcernconsortium. Also if you are a Facebook or MySpace user, get the message out to even more friends by placing a link to your Just Giving fundraising page on your profile. Your friends can then click straight through to your page, sign up and support you.
