Helping children in care find new families
The British Association for Adoption & Fostering helps children and young people who cannot live with their birth families.
Growing up with a loving, permanent family changes a child's life for good. That's why BAAF does everything possible to find loving adoptive families and permanent foster carers for children who can no longer live at home.
Many of the children helped by BAAF will have faced emotional or physical abuse. By finding a secure and loving “forever family”, they can overcome these traumas and look forward to a better future. BAAF plays a vital role offering support and advice to everyone involved in making this happen.
The introductions were quick and, after the children had lived with us for six
months, the adoption order went through... If it hadn’t been for the Register, we
would never have found our beautiful children. They have completely changed
our lives – it’s absolutely fantastic.
